The children are forced to fast so the the donated food items can be sold. That's what was going on at the bawjiase children home operated by Auntie Emma Boafo.
Investigative Journalist, Anas Amereyaw Anas on his mission to uncover the gruesome act going on at the children's home captured recorded some of the treatment given to the children at home on camera. In the video a teacher is seen slapping a student. Not only that, the children was seen scrubbing the bathhouse with stones. Also a child was served food in his shirt whilst other walk with feaces neglected. A girl was crying in class because she was starving whilst a boy ate uncooked noodles.
After the findings, the children's home have been closed and the children transferred to the Osu Children's Home.
